Abby Dolan is the associate director of the Urban Health Lab at the Penn Medicine Center for Health Justice. In this role, Abby creates and implements infrastructure supporting the Center’s research and community action portfolios. These bodies of work utilize place-based interventions to address health in under-resourced neighborhoods throughout Philadelphia. 

Prior to her current role, Abby coordinated research at Penn’s Center for Emergency Care Policy and Research that tested interventions communicating opioid-related risks to patients in the emergency department. She previously worked at the Penn Center for Public Health’s Healthy Library Initiative to train community members on opioid overdose reversal and naloxone administration. 

Abby holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Pennsylvania and a dual Bachelor of Arts in psychology and Spanish from the University of Michigan.
