2025 PennHealthX – Care Transformation Award

Students at the Perelman School of Medicine are invited to apply for the PennHealthX – Care Transformation Award Program, a summer hands-on learning opportunity to explore health system care delivery and transformation under the guidance of CHTI. Selected students will participate in CHTI’s work creating new approaches and technology to reimagine health care delivery for dramatically better outcomes, value, experience, and equity across our system and our communities.

Description: Students will join a multidisciplinary team over 10 weeks (June 23 – August 22, 2025) focused on rapid-cycle development, testing, and implementation of initiatives that advance non-incremental, impactful change. Specific projects are still being defined.

Engagement with CHTI: Awardees should expect to connect with faculty mentors, teams, stakeholders, and projects virtually and in-person throughout the summer.

Award: $5,000

Application deadline: Friday, February 21
