Beth Sheridan is a nurse practitioner with the Surgical Critical Care Service (SCCS) and a senior clinical transformation fellow with CHTI.

Through the SCCS, which she joined in 2017, Beth works in the Center for Connected Care, the surgical intensive care units (ICUs) at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Pennsylvania Hospital, and the trauma surgical ICU at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. Prior to that, Beth was an advanced practice provider fellow at Penn Medicine.

As a CHTI fellow, Beth is applying her clinical expertise and a deep understanding of health system operations to support Transformation initiatives. She is most passionate about enhancing interdepartmental communication and optimizing clinical workflows. This is especially evident in her project PickIt, a solution designed to streamline the procurement of medical supplies. 

Beth received her BSN from The Catholic University of America and MSN from Georgetown University. She is board certified as an adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner and clinical nurse specialist. She was awarded a UPHS nursing scholarship and is currently pursuing a certificate in health care quality & safety at the Perelman School of Medicine.
