Employee telemedicine visits less costly for health systems
With Penn Medicine's copay-free employee telemedicine program, Penn Medicine OnDemand, care delivery costs were nearly 23 percent lower than with in-person visits. The study also showed an increase in demand by 10 percent during the 2017-2019 study period.
