Jennifer Lee

Jennifer N. Lee is a senior faculty fellow at CHTI and an associate professor of clinical family medicine and community health at the University of Pennsylvania.

Clinically, Jennifer is a primary care physician for a panel spanning children through elderly individuals. She also rounds at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and works with medical student and resident learners in both clinical contexts. She serves as the vice chair for clinical operations for the Department of Family Medicine, where she helps oversee two primary care practices, an inpatient adult hospital service, and a labor/delivery and postpartum service. Previously, she was the medical director of Penn Family Care, a large academic primary care practice in West Philadelphia serving over 22,000 active patients.

Jennifer was a key CHTI collaborator well before joining the Center in 2026, providing clinical leadership and applying her expertise in clinical operations and quality improvement. She is the medical director of the High-Risk Follow Through program and a driver of a Nudge Unit project to improve the way we screen primary care patients for tobacco use and help them quit.

Jennifer completed medical school at Boston University and her residency training in Albany, New York.
