Transformation Manager, Center for Health Justice

Kanika Sachdeva serves as a transformation manager at the Center for Health Justice, co-managing a project focused on empowering low-wage earners financially and transforming their experiences. Kanika integrates creativity, user-centric strategies, and technological advancements to address complex challenges and drive meaningful change. 

Before joining the Center for Health Justice, Kanika worked as a design strategist at the startup Healthy Technology, where she introduced a new product aimed at curbing smartphone addiction in adolescents and helping them achieve their physical and mental development goals. She also worked with Honda Innovation Labs and Walmart, where she designed digital products with a strong emphasis on achieving business objectives of improved customer experience and higher customer engagement. She previously worked as a designer and project manager for a large-scale infrastructure project. Kanika has extensive experience leading end-to-end project development cycles from design conceptualization and refinement to on-site execution while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and clients. 

Kanika holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture, a Master of Integrated Innovation for Products and Services (MIIPS) from Carnegie Mellon University, and a master’s in project management (Master of Building Engineering and Management, MBEM) from the School of Planning and Architecture in India.
