Keven Cabrera

Keven Cabrera is an instructor of pediatric emergency medicine at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and faculty at the Penn Medicine Center for Health Justice. 

He is interested in environmental justice and community-centered research and aims to elevate the voices of minoritized communities to bring about environmental action, health justice, and policy change. His current work is focused on the health impacts of local greening initiatives within Philadelphia.

Keven studied biology at Vassar College, received his medical degree from the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell University, and completed his residency in pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore. He completed his pediatric emergency medicine fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and a Master of Science in Health Policy Research at the University of Pennsylvania.
