Kevin Xie is a Senior Health Care Transformation Fellow working across multiple Impact Cores at CHTI. He collaborates with project teams to develop natural language processing–based tools that extract and process information from electronic health records to improve patient care and delivery. He is passionate about developing data-oriented methods to drive health care innovation. 

Kevin holds a BS in biomedical engineering and an MS in computer science from Washington University in St. Louis. He earned a PhD in bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania with a research focus in natural language processing and clinical informatics.
