
Larissa Morgan
Larissa Morgan is the director of health justice transformation at the Penn Medicine Center for Health Justice. In this role, she oversees a portfolio of systemwide initiatives that advances justice for patients and employees by addressing structural barriers across health care delivery and workforce systems. She leads strategy, program design, and implementation efforts that promote systemic change and support historically marginalized populations.
With over 20 years of experience in health care, Larissa has served in a range of roles including clinical nurse and nursing professional development specialist at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She was also a faculty member at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. Prior to her current role, she served as program manager for talent acquisition strategies, where she developed and launched enterprise-wide workforce initiatives to expand access to health care careers, including surgical technologist and patient care technician pipelines.
Larissa also serves as a principal investigator for research focused on the advancement of women of color in health care leadership. She earned her BSN from The College of New Jersey and her MSN in nursing education from Temple University.
