Maanasa Gurram

Maanasa Gurram is a PSOM transformation fellow in the Division of Emerging Care Delivery at CHTI, where she supports initiatives focused on reimagining care delivery, improving the patient experience and interface with health care, and advancing innovative solutions to barriers across health systems. 

Maanasa is currently pursuing her MD at the Perelman School of Medicine (PSOM) at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to medical school, she studied neurobiology and public policy at the University of Maryland, where she developed an interdisciplinary perspective on health care through roles with health equity nonprofits, think tanks, global campaigns, and Congressional offices. Throughout her career, she hopes to leverage her diverse experiences to champion patient voice, impact progress towards equity, and help shape a health care system that better serves all people.
