Raeesha Altaf

Raeesha Tanvir Altaf is an associate design strategist at Nudge Unit, where she applies a human-centered approach to research and design. She works across the portfolio to develop and implement nudge interventions that drive positive outcomes.

Before joining Penn, Raeesha spent more than four years at Idea Couture, a Cognizant design consultancy, where she collaborated with cross-functional teams to design digital experiences for clients across various industries. She also gained valuable experience in medical technology during her internship at Siemens Healthineers, contributing to the UI design of ultrasound machines.

Raeesha also engages in civic tech projects with the nonprofit U.S. Digital Response. Previously, she served as a board member for PhillyCHI, a local UX organization that connects practitioners through monthly educational and networking events.

Raeesha holds a master’s degree in user experience and interaction design from Jefferson University and a bachelor’s degree in visual communication design from the Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology in India.
