Therese Murphy

Transformation Fellow, Office of Health Care Transformation

Therese Murphy is a transformation fellow in the Penn Center Office of Health Care Transformation. In this role, she supports care transformation initiatives and contributes to project management efforts that advance collaboration, new approaches to care delivery, and improved outcomes across the health system.

Therese is currently pursuing her MD and Master of Bioethics degrees at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Before entering medical school, she worked as a critical care nurse, providing bedside care to patients in high-acuity settings. Her experience in both nursing and medicine shapes her commitment to equitable, patient-centered transformation and her belief in cross-disciplinary collaboration as a driver of change in health care.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio.
