Nudges in Health Care Toolkit
As the world’s first behavioral design team embedded within a health system, the Penn Medicine Nudge Unit has been leveraging insights from behavioral science to design, implement, evaluate, and disseminate scalable nudges to steer decision-making toward high-value care, improve patient outcomes, enhance public health, and increase health equity since 2016.
Through publications, events, and our online toolkit, we aim to share lessons learned from this work in hopes of building collaborations across health systems and driving meaningful impact in the industry at large. We hope you find this page to be a helpful resource and that you reference it often to inspire and guide efforts to nudge patients and populations toward better health.
We plan to add to and iterate on this content regularly. As such, we invite you to share feedback on your experience and suggestions for updates.
